Kailin Wood-based Panel Industrial Co., Ltd. cooperated with Japanese Toyo Plywood Co., Ltd. to develop and produce the poplar modified laminated veneer lumber (LVL) agreed slabs, in the same year, the product was promoted in Japan, and it became the first company to produce poplar LVL and export it to Japanese market.

The poplar modified laminated veneer lumber (LVL) agreed slab project was reported to the National Sparking Plan Project, received special support from the National Science and Technology Fund, and won the second prize for science and technology progresses in Shandong Province, and the first prize for science and technology progresses in Linyi City.
