Kailin Company cooperated with Malaysian Samling Group to expand production. On November 26, 2002, upon the approval of Linyi Commerce Bureau, Malaysian Samling Group invested USD1.84 million to establish Lulin Wood Industry (Linyi) Co., Ltd., and newly built a factory of 40,000 square meters in the Economic Development Zone, Lanling County, built a modern plant of 10,080 square meters, 5 production lines for poplar laminated veneer lumber (LVL), and 4 production lines for finger-jointed lumber, to specialize in the production and R&D of poplar laminated veneer lumber. The company now has 120 employees, with an annual production and sales (LVL) of 30,000 cubic meters, and a sales revenue of 100 million yuan.
